Firestorm

Oh my, what can I say, the terrible winds and fire are still going on. The wind is down some, so maybe that will help. I called my friend Kathy who lives in Choctaw, and their house and they are OK. It was about a mile away from them, but did get closer to Grand Daughter's house, but no damage there either (just the front yard) The fire is still going on this morning, please pray for safety for those in the path, and pray for rain. WE need RAIN on this Easter Sunday! have a good one!

Aah... April

Happy Easter to All who wander by this. Yesterday was absolutely the best day (weatherwise) we have had! 82 degrees at my house, little wind, and great for yard work. The "Tree" man came by, so had those ugly trees on the fence line behind the house whacked down (the ones hanging over my yard) so now maybe I can make a new flower bed. Most of my flowers from last year came back, have lots of Iris about to bloom, and one yellow one already in full bloom.
I also have 10 new slats to replace on the fence, so should be a busy time. (the kids next door have been super active, and so have their dogs! ugh)
Next Sunday is Easter, so get your bonnets and gloves out and lets really have a blessed Easter Sunday! He Is Risen!

Hello Again...didn't get any answers to my last hello, but surely somebody will read this, and at least sign on that they saw it.
Its a great Day Saw Tucker & Elizabeth on GMA, made it to Bible Study, and now I'm home. We have had fairly nice weather (except for WIND), but the weatherman says we will have SNOW on Friday----hope this does not interfere with any travel plans.
The purple Iris are in bloom at Clay's house. I have buds but no flowers yet, sure hope the snow dosn't get them. Daffidols have come and gone (very few), and the Redbuds are in full bloom and very beautiful. Have a great day family, I am going to! Blessings to all

Helloooooooo - - - anybody out there?

Happy St. Patrick's day! I know it isn't until Tuesday, but I may forget by then - It is my turn to bring Refreshments to Bible Study on Wednesday, so you see I'm early and late. It is a lovely day today, sun shining, temp in the 60's, and I've made it to Church and Back.
All my family bloggers have stopped blogging! What Happened! I miss you all (Elizabeth this does not apply to you! I am loving your Blog) anyway, if you happen on to this poor lonely blog, give me a shout and tell me what is going on in your world. Blessings, love you all.

Earthquake

No I'm not kidding - there was an earthquake this morning, and it was felt in Del City by me! I was reading my E Mail, and all of a sudden I heard what I thought was something thrown at the house, and my hot glue gun jumped off the shelf-- I checked all around to see what else happened (Did Clay or Muffin fall out of bed??) no, all is well, I could not figure out what it was until the weatherman on Channel Four told me. Ah Life is exciting! Thanks Heavenly Father for nothing more serious.
As to the rest of my life, its pretty quiet. Beginning the usual summer strange things happening with the yard, and broken fences and all that jazz. Clay's brother is coming over, and he promised he would take me to the lumber yard and get a load of fence slats ( at least a dozen), so I can nail them back up as they get knocked down. I can only get about 4 in the back of my car, and its gets tiresome. BG has a pick up truck. We went to Tulsa yesterday, just a nice trip. Its time for to get ready for church - blessings to all who read this -

Yea Elizabeth!!!!!!

I am so excited! I just read Elizabeth's blog from NYC - she is haveing a grand adventure, and I am so happy for her ( yes, I miss her, but I'm happy she is trying her wings) Certainly is a bright spot in my life! Things around here are going OK---everything at the moment is working, including my AOL account, which is a pleasant change. I have not been able to get on line and stay---for ever it seems. My land phone has been so staticicy (no that is not a proper word), anyway, called the phone repair service today and a nice man came and checked me out (not that's not right, he checked out the wires, seems I have been dis connected partially from the main box - now I can talk and hear on the phone - so all of you that have been having to call me on my cell, cross your fingers and hope I stay connected. Since the phone is my modem, that is the reason I could not stay connected to AOL (at least I hope that was it).
I'm OK, Clay is OK, and Muffin is OK, and a lovely cat lives on my front porch, gets 2 meals a day and lots of love , so the world is spinning right along. We did have a little bump in the road last week, Clay's house got broken into - they made a big mess- dumped drawers and stuff, and broke the back window out of the Ford (locked in the garage). They went down the street and robbed another house, and the man was home and had his gun loaded and shot at them- no doubt scaring them-they ran and left the loot they took from Clay's, so the Police returned the coin collection, and we have most of the stuff put back where it belongs--again thank goodness they did not rip and tear and smash inside the house, just dumped drawers, so you see, there is something good in most things, and we are thankful for that. I hope someone reads this, it has been so long since I wrote you probably think I've given this up WRONG, hopefully I'm back. love to all of you, and Elizabeth, I can't get on your comment page, but when I figure it out I h ope to be #1 follower! Loveyou
