I took the "Book" test, and here is my answer
You're "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee Perceived as a revolutionary and groundbreaking person, you have changed the minds of many people. While questioning the authority around you, you've also taken a significant amount of flack. But you've had the admirable guts to persevere. There's a weird guy in the neighborhood using dubious means to protect you, but you're pretty sure it's worth it in the end. In the end, it remains unclear to you whether finches and mockingbirds get along in real life.
I don't know how many minds I've changed, but I certainly have had my share of questioning, and Flack!! This is a fun quiz and I enjoyed it.
Pretty quiet around here, its too hot to rabble raise, so just staying cool. Muffin did get a hair cut today, and she is much cooler. All I know for now, keep cool, love you all.

Sunday - Be Blessed

Good Morning, its gonna be a great day...102 so the weather man says, but we will just ignore that. We went to Lyric last night, saw "Once on this Island". It was veddy intereresting.....Music great....costume great....I just should have boned up on it before I went...nontheless...we enjoyed much. Went with Larry & Marj, and if you didn't know, Marj is best tour guide of Okc downtown around. We toured Brick town, checked out the new Skirvin, drove by what used to be the Kerr McGee Bldg, and just had a general view of downtown--it was busy, lots of people down there, lots of changes, saw three carriages powered by Clydsdales, its great. We ended up this exotic evening at Braums in Del City and a double dip ice cream - and a tour of Eagle Lake! WOW! So how was your Saturday night?

Tuesday "work day"

Its either rain-wind-or hotter than ----
Today is going to be hot. Nothing much going on. The fence is still standing, the neighbors finally mowed their wheat, and my "mow" man comes today to mow my "dirt". I'm off to church to do my work day, and so all is well with the world. Take care family, be safe.

Saturday ;)

Today was Pancake Breakfast at Church, so we did go, twas good, and now I'm ready for a nap. We had a good trip to Tulsa yesterday, delivered our recycled papers to be used for mulch at the farm. Visited with a young mule, white and frisky and named Molly. Drove over to Claremore and had a faboulous lunch at a place next Door to Will Rogers Memorial called Harriman's. Yum! I had spinich and salmon salad, and 1/4 of Clay's Raisen Creme pie. (got the recipe too!) It was very very good, and I am sure 900 calories a bite--oh well. If anyone is interested, I'll post the recipe. got home about 10:30 pm. Checked the fence this morning, and our repairs are still standing, so keep your fingers crossed!

Red Letter Day!

What fun! Elizabeth came to visit. We had a good time-lunch and lots of just catching up. Later in the day I whacked up branches and tried to clean up in the back yard - and- had two little visitors from next door=yep, broke down my back fence again and Caden(almost 2) and Daisy Dog came rushing in. Muffin freaked (and brave watch dog that she is) headed for the house and the dog door--so did Daisy. Caden made for a fast retreat thru the back fence hole, I said a few "bad" words, got Daisy out, but she likes it here, so didn't want to go home, finally the "big" boy came and trolled her home. Pretty exciting there for a minute or two. I haven't told you that one day last week Clay and I were sitting on the couch, watching TV, and all of a sudden here came Muffin in a dead run, with Daisy and Caden right behind her. Caden stopped at the Den door and grinned and said HI! By the time I got my wits back, he left (thru the Doggy Door), but left the dog, well that was another merry chase thru the house to get her out. I had to go over and knock on the door to get the ?parents? to come get Daisy out of the yard. The mother came out with the three big boys, and yanked Caden out of his hidy hole in the back fence and got the dog under control. I asked her if she could please fix the hole in their fence, so he could not get behind my fence and break it down---she didn't even answer me! Anyway this visit prompted buying some new slats for the fence and they are now in place, so hopefully there won't be any more visits. (any advice on how to handle this situation?)
This morning, it is going to be a nice day! We are going to Tulsa. Say prayers for us and Muffin!
